Chaperone-brand Infant Car Seats by Britax

Consumers should immediately check the back of the chest clip on their Chaperone infant car seats to see if the letters "PC" are moulded into the plastic. Car seats with "PC" are affected by this recall and these consumers should immediately contact Britax for a free repair kit. Until the repair kit is received, Britax recommends that the car seat can continue to be used but urges parents and caregivers to regularly verify that the chest clip is not broken. Car seats with the letters "POM" moulded into the back of the chest clip are not included in this recall.
