Consumers Warned of High Levels of Lead in Pizza Playset and Fishing Game

Health Canada is advising consumers to immediately discard the Pizza Playset and Fishing Game, two toys manufactured by Ningbo Ftz Zhengbao International Trading Co., Ltd in China. Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has revealed that these toys contain lead in excess of the allowable limit. Children can ingest harmful amounts of lead when they chew, suck or swallow items that contain it. The Pizza Playset is comprised of a plastic pizza, cut in slices, along with plastic utensils and condiments. The Fishing Game includes a fishing rod and five plastic fish. These toys are designed for children ages 3 years and older. The barcode that can identify the Pizza Playset is 094922130778 and the Fishing Game can be identified with the barcode 094922553980.
