Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cribs and find an alternative safe sleeping environment for their child. Consumers should not return the crib. Any consumer with a crib subject to this recall should contact Elfe Juvenile Products to receive a free repair kit that converts the drop-side of the crib to a fixed side. The repair kits will be provided to owners within the next several weeks. In Canada, the sole distributor for LaJobi cribs is Elfe Juvenile Products. Consumers may register to receive a free repair kit by visiting Elfe's Web site or by calling Elfe toll-free at 1-800-667-8184. Consumers may also e-mail Elfe at service@elfe.ca .
