Consumers should carefully examine the drop-side hardware for any signs of damage. If consumers determine that the drop-side hardware is broken, loose, missing, or deformed, or if there are any other reasons for concern, consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cribs and find an alternative safe sleeping environment for their baby. Consumers should not return the crib. Pottery Barn Kids is offering a free retrofit kit to affected consumers. Health Canada has not yet assessed the safety of the proposed kits. Once the Department has completed its analysis of the proposed retrofit kit, this recall posting will be updated.
