IKEA KRITTER and SNIGLAR junior beds

The metal rod connecting the guard rail to the bed frame can break during use, posing a laceration hazard. There has been one incident in Canada and one in the United States of the metal rod on the beds breaking. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers may contact IKEA Canada toll-free at 1-800-661-9807 to request a free repair kit, or visit their local IKEA store to pick up a free repair kit at Returns and Exchanges. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
