Five unauthorized products seized from Keebo Sports Supplements in Winnipeg may pose serious health risks

September 30, 2016 For immediate release Health Canada seized five unauthorized products promoted as workout or weight loss supplements from Keebo Sports Supplements at 1504 St. Mary’s Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba (see table below). The products are labelled to contain various prescription and other drug substances that may pose serious risks to the health of Canadians.
What to do
Stop using these products. Consult with your health care professional if you have used any of these products and have health concerns. Read product labels to verify that health products have been authorized for sale by Health Canada. Authorized health products have an eight-digit DIN, a DIN-HM or a NPN. You can also check if products have been authorized for sale by searching Health Canada's Drug Product Database and Licensed Natural Health Product Database .
