Navien Inc. recalls Propane Conversion Kit for Condensing Tankless Water Heater and Combination Boiler

What to do
Consumer should immediately contact Navien Inc. for a replacement conversion kit to be installed. If the water heater or boiler has been converted to use propane gas, as long as the product is properly vented to the outdoors, the consumer may continue to use the product until the repair has been made. If there are any concerns about the integrity of the vent system or if you are unsure whether the unit is properly vented, immediately discontinue use of the product until the replacement conversion kit is installed, and ensure that a properly installed and functioning carbon monoxide detector is present. For more information, consumers may contact Navien Inc. toll free by telephone at 1-800-244-8202 Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm PST or by email . Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
