What to do
Consumers with recalled boilers are advised to contact the installer or the wholesaler/distributor from whom they purchased the boiler or Viessmann Manufacturing immediately in order to schedule a free boiler safety inspection. Consumers who continue the use of these boilers while awaiting inspection should have a working carbon monoxide alarm installed outside of sleeping areas in the home. For more information, consumers may contact Viessmann Manufacturing Company Inc. by telephone at 1-888-414-9157 between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST Monday through Friday, by email or online at the Viessmann website. Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
