K2 Inline Skates recalled due to potential fall hazard

Product: K2 Model VO2 S line of inline skates Issue: The skate axle may become loose or a portion of the axle may sheer off during use, posing a potential fall hazard. What to do: Stop using the inline skates and contact K2 Corporation for a free repair. Affected products What you should do Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and K2 Corporation of Canada.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled skates and contact K2 Corporation of Canada for a free repair. The recalled skates may be sent directly to K2 or the point of purchase for repair. For more information, consumers can contact K2 Corporation of Canada at 1-866-734-5746 Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST, by email or visit the company's website . Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
