Visit Pyranha's safety announcement on their website and inspect your kayak for the presence of an unsafe gap between the step-out pillar and kayak. If an unsafe gap exists contact MEC to receive a retrofit kit. For more information, consumers can contact their local MEC store by email , or by telephone at 1-888-847-0770 Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm (PT), Saturday from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm (PT) or Sunday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (PT).
