Product: Lithium Ion Batteries used in Torqeedo Travel and Ultralight Outboard Engines. Issue: The lithium ion batteries may not be water tight, posing a fire hazard when being submerged in water. What to do: Immediately stop using the recalled lithium ion batteries and contact Torqeedo Inc. for a free repair or replacement battery. Affected products What you should do

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled lithium ion batteries and register their Torqeedo battery by visiting the website in English or in French to initiate the process for a repair or replacement of the battery. For more information, consumers may contact Torqeedo Inc. by email or by calling 815-261-1277 Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
