Product: Attachment Kits for 60 Inch Brooms that were sold without manuals. Issue: Some of the attachment kits are missing the operator's manual which details proper attachment and use of the broom, posing an injury hazard. What to do: Immediately stop using the product and contact an authorized John Deere dealer for an operator's manual. Affected products What you should do Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and John Deere Canada ULC.
What to do
Consumers that are missing the broom operator's manual should immediately stop using the broom and contact an authorized John Deere dealer for an operator's manual. For more information, consumers may contact Deere & Company by telephone toll-free at 1-800- 537-8233 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Consumers can also visit the company's website . Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
