Rocky Mountain Instinct, Instinct BC and Pipeline aluminum mountain bikes recalled due to Fall Hazard

Product: Certain Rocky Mountain aluminum bicycles (Instinct, Instinct BC and Pipeline models from 2018, 2019 and 2020). Issue: The front triangle of the bike frame can crack, posing a fall hazard to the user. What to do: Immediately stop using the recalled bicycles and contact an authorized Rocky Mountain Bicycles retailer for a replacement frame. Affected products What you should do Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Rocky Mountain Bicycles.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the affected bicycles and contact an authorized Rocky Mountain retailer for a free replacement frame. For further instructions, consumers can contact Rocky Mountain Bicycles toll free at 1-877-744-1515 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST Monday through Friday, by email or on the company's website . Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
