Expanded Recall: Specialized-branded Sirrus bicycles with alloy cranks recalled due to fall hazard

The crank arm can disengage and cause the bicycle’s rider to lose control, posing fall and injury hazards. As of August 31, 2022, the company has received 5 reports of incidents in Canada with reports of minor injuries.

Fall hazard

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycles and return them to the nearest Authorized Specialized retailer. The retailer will re-install the cranks to factory specification at no cost. Specialized Bicycle Components is contacting all known purchasers directly.
