Expanded Recall: Mastercraft 5 Gallon Air Compressor and MotoMaster 5 Gallon Twin-Stack Air Compressor recalled due to injury hazard

The regulator knob may break off under pressure and may lead to a component failure and cause injury to consumers. As of January 20, 2022 , the company has received 21 reports of incidents in Canada with 1 injury.

Injury hazard

Consumers should immediately stop using the compressors and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. The call centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
