Shepherd Boy with Staff toy recalled due to laceration hazard

Product: The shepherd staff/hook accessory from the Shepherd Boy with Staff toy sold by The Shepherd's Treasure. Issue: The fabric covering on the staff/hook can come loose and expose a sharp metal edge, posing a laceration hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product, dispose of the shepherd's staff/hook, and contact The Shepherd's Treasure for a gift card. Affected products What you should do Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and The Shepherd's Treasure.

What to do
Consumers should immediately take the recalled The Shepherd's Treasure shepherd boy accessory staff/hook toys away from children, dispose of them, and contact The Shepherd's Treasure for a refund in the form of a complimentary gift card. For more information, consumers can contact The Shepherd's Treasure by telephone toll-free at 1-844-310-2229 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST Monday to Friday, by email at recall@theshepherdstreasure.com , or online and click on "Recall" for more information. Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold, or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
