UPDATE (September 28, 2021): Additional graphene face mask authorized for sale Health Canada has authorized the sale of an additional face mask containing graphene: the Zen Guard Disposable Face Mask With Biocidal Coating, by Trebor Rx Corp. Please see the updated table below. Aside from the products listed in the table, no other graphene face masks are currently permitted for sale in Canada. Companies wishing to sell graphene masks must first provide evidence to Health Canada demonstrating the safety and effectiveness of their models, as the risks with using graphene masks may vary depending on mask design. Health Canada continues to encourage Canadians to submit a complaint if they find graphene masks being sold in Canada other than the ones listed in the table below. Health Canada will continue to update the permitted products table below if it authorizes any other face masks containing graphene. Consumers are encouraged to check back for updates.
