Update: Peloton Tread Treadmills recalled due to potential Injury Hazard

Product: Peloton Tread Treadmill. Issue: The touchscreen on the treadmill can detach and fall, posing a risk of injury to consumers. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled treadmills and contact Peloton for a full refund and information about a free inspection and repair. Affected products What you should do September 10, 2021: This recall was updated to reflect additional information to the "What you should do" section. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Peloton Interactive Inc.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled treadmills and contact Peloton to either schedule a repair or request a full refund. Peloton will continue to offer full refunds until November 6, 2022. Peloton is offering consumers who do not want a refund the option of a free inspection and repair that will secure the touchscreen to the treadmill to help prevent future incidents. As of August 16, 2021 the repair option is available to Canadians. Please refer to the contact information below to schedule your repair or inquire further. For more information, consumers can contact Peloton by telephone at 1-833-821-0099 from 9 am- 9 pm EST Monday through Sunday or at Peloton Support . Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
