Update: Peloton Tread Treadmills recalled due to potential Injury Hazard

Product: Peloton Tread Treadmill. Issue: The touchscreen on the treadmill can detach and fall, posing a risk of injury to consumers. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled treadmills and contact Peloton for a full refund and information about a free inspection and repair. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Peloton Interactive Inc.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled treadmills and contact Peloton to either schedule a repair or request a full refund. Peloton will continue to offer full refunds until November 6, 2022. Peloton is offering consumers who do not want a refund the option of a free inspection and repair that will secure the touchscreen to the treadmill to help prevent future incidents. As of August 16, 2021 the repair option is available to Canadians. Please refer to the contact information below to schedule your repair or inquire further. Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
