Certain caps sold with CamelBak Podium and Peak Fitness water bottles recalled due to choking hazard

Product: Certain caps sold with CamelBak Podium and Peak Fitness water bottles. Issue: The silicone valve in the cap of the water bottle may come loose, posing a choking hazard. What to do: Immediately stop using the product and contact Outdoor Gear Canada for a replacement cap and then dispose of the affected bottle cap. Affected products What you should do Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and CamelBak Products LLC.

What to do
Consumers with any of the affected bottle caps with the affected date codes should contact Outdoor Gear Canada for a replacement cap by providing their contact information and photo of the affected data cap. The consumer should then destroy and dispose of the affected cap. For more information, consumers may contact Outdoor Gear Canada at the toll free 1-800-363-0693 or via email at warranty@ogc.ca from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday. Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
