Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these lighters do not meet the Lighters Regulations in Canada and may pose a fire or burn hazard. Specifically, the lighters: May exhibit defects due to combustion of a component within the lighter barrel May continue to burn May exhibit incorrect labelling requirements for refillable lighters As of May 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada.
