Birkenstock Mogami Kids Sandals recalled due to choking hazard

Product: Birkenstock Mogami Kids Sandals Sizes 24-28. Issue: The rivet that attaches the ankle strap to the side of the sandal may detach posing a choking hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately remove the sandals from use and return to Birkenstock USA for a full refund. Affected products What you should do Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Birkenstock USA.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return it for a refund. For more information, consumers can contact Birkenstock USA at (844) 505-4055 Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 9:00om EST or by clicking www.birkenstock.com and clicking on "Recall information". Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website (US CPSC to provide link). Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
