B-Air Blower Fans recalled due to risk of fire hazard

Product: Intertex LLC B-Air Blower Fans. Issue: The capacitor in affected VP-33 units, can overheat, posing a fire hazard. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the blower fans and contact Intertex LLC for a repair kit. What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Intertex LLC for a repair kit that includes a free replacement capacitor and easy to follow instructions. To register for the recall, consumers may visit the company's website . For more information, consumers can contact B-Air (Intertex LLC) toll free at 1-800-465-7300 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, or by email: vp33recall@b-air.com . Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
