Nico SeeWonder Magnetic Rattle Snake Eggs recalled due to ingestion hazard

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that the magnets do not meet the magnetic force requirements of the Toys Regulations and pose an ingestion hazard . The results of swallowing small powerful magnets can be very serious and life-threatening. Swallowing incidents have often resulted in considerable damage to the gastrointestinal tissues and required emergency surgical treatment. For survivors, there can be long-term health consequences. As of August 6th 2021, the company has received no reports of injuries or incidents. For more information on the danger of swallowing magnets, please see magnet safety . What to do
Consumers should immediately take the recalled magnets away from children and return to Ami Ventures Inc. for a refund. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
