Honda Portable Generators recalled due to fire hazard

Product: Honda EU2200i and Honda EB2200i Portable Generators Issue: If exposed to salt water, salt water may enter the AC output connector inside the generator, posing a fire hazard. Honda will be contacting all known purchasers directly and advise them to bring the generator to an authorized Honda dealer for repair. For more information, consumers may contact Honda Canada Inc. by telephone at 1-888-946-6329, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. EST or online . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
