Product: Certain À la Cuisine brand electric glass kettles Issue: When the kettle is plugged in, the base of the kettle can overheat and the plastic on the electric cord can melt, posing burn or a fire hazard. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Hart Stores Inc. to receive a refund or an exchange. For more information, consumers may contact HART Stores Inc. by telephone at 514-376-5332 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday or send an email: customerservice@hartstores . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products that pose a danger to human health or safety from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents or concerns related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
