LUS Hair Dryer and Diffuser recalled due to risk of electric shock

Product: LUS Hair Dryer and Diffuser. Issue: The recalled product is marked as conforming to the standard UL 859; however, the product does not have an immersion protection plug, which poses a risk of electric shock in homes without Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI) if immersed in water. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact LUS Distribution Inc. for disposal instructions and to obtain a full refund.
