The top of the outdoor torch may break open/off while in use, creating a risk of burn injuries. As of March 8, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Berkley Jensen Citronella 72-in. outdoor torches and contact BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. for a refund. For more information, consumers can contact BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. by telephone at 1-800-257-2582, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday or by email (visit BJs.com/help and click on the email icon). Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
