Carex Bed Support Rail Recalled due to Entrapment and Asphyxiation Hazard

Users of the recalled products can become entrapped between the mattress and the support rail if the retention strap is not properly installed or within the rails of the product, which can lead to serious injury or death by asphyxia. As of December 6 , 2 021, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada and has received 3 reports of fatali ties and no other reports of incidents or injuries in the USA .
