Drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged. As of December 15, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the children’s upper outerwear to eliminate the hazard. Consumers may also return the item to the store of purchase for a refund.
