Issue
Drawstrings on children's upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged. As of December 23, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring and toggles from the waist of the jacket, by cutting both sides of the cord, to eliminate the hazard. Consumers can also choose to destroy the recalled item and send a photo to SSENSE’s customer service department for a refund. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
