Carrément Beau Raincoat recalled due to entanglement and vehicular dragging hazard

Issue
Drawstrings on children’s upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged. As of January 18 th , 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from both sides of the raincoat waistband, cutting and removing all cords, to eliminate the hazard. Consumers may return the item to the store of purchase for a refund. For more information, consumers can contact L’Enfantillon by telephone at 450-978-9199 or by email. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
