Yardworks 15-Amp Electric Corded Snowblower, 22-in recalled due to Electric Shock Hazard

The power cable on the affected units may become brittle and break when exposed to temperatures below -20C, leading to a potential electric shock injury. As of March 10, 2022, the company has received 6 reports of incidents relating to the power cord becoming brittle and breaking in Canada, and no reports of injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to any Canadian Tire Store for a full refund. The call centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
