The plastic container can break and release sharp shards of plastic, which can fall into the receptacle reservoir with the food, posing ingestion and injury hazards. As of March 21, 2022, Lee Valley Tools has received 6 reports of incidences in Canada and no reports of injuries.

Do not contact Lee Valley Tools if the nut chopper was purchased at another retailer.
