Portable Baby Tent Playpen with Basketball Hoop recalled due to flammability and entrapment hazards

Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that this playpen does not meet the requirements of the Playpens Regulations . Specifically, the black mesh part of the fabric cover poses a flammability hazard. In addition, the top corners of the playpen can allow a child’s head to pass through, posing an entrapment hazard. For more information on playpens, please visit the Government of Canada's webpage on Playpen safety . As of April 9, 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled playpen and discard the fabric cover in their regular household garbage. Consumers can contact Gaoyiservice@outlook.com to request a new fabric cover. Please note that there will be a 2 to 3 month delay in shipping due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the area. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
