Crafter’s Square Mini Hot Glue Gun Recalled due to fire and Burn Hazards

Issue
The Crafter’s Square Mini Hot Glue Gun may overheat during use and cause the metal nozzle to melt, posing a fire and burn hazards. As of April 6 th 2022, the company has not received any incident reports or injuries in Canada. In the Unites States, the company has received seven reports of electrical incidents and one report of incident with minor injuries.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Crafter’s Square Mini Hot Glue Gun and return the affected product to any Dollar Tree store location for a full refund. For more information, consumers may contact Dollar Tree by telephone at 800-876-8697 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, by email at recalls@dollartree.com or visit the company website at https://www.dollartree.com/product-recalls or at www.dollartree.com and click on “Recall Information” at the bottom of the page. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and Dollar Tree Stores Canada. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
