Various Infant Winter Water Factory Products recalled due to Choking and Laceration Hazards

Issue
The snaps on the recalled garments can detach and also expose small sharp prongs, posing potential choking and laceration hazards to young children. As of April 27, 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries. In the Unites States, the company has received 29 reports of snaps detaching between the prong ring and the stud or socket piece and no reports of injuries.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled garments, destroy the recalled garments by cutting them in half with scissors and upload a photo of the destroyed garments to the company’s website . When uploading the photo, consumers can decide whether to choose a full refund of the purchase price or a store credit with an additional 20% of the purchase price , or the full retail price, whichever is higher. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Winter Water Factory, LLC. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
