Olight Ecommerce Technology Recalls Flashlights Due to Burn Hazard

Issue
The flashlights can be turned on inadvertently under unlock mode and overheat while stored in the holster or a consumer’s pocket, posing a burn hazard to consumers. As of April 19, 2022, the company has received 6 reports of incidents, and no reports of injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled flashlight and contact Olight for further instructions. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
