Bugaboo Stardust Play Yard's Bassinet Inlay recalled due to potential suffocation hazard

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these products do not meet Canada's Playpens Regulations . Specifically, if an unattended infant is placed cross-wise on the bassinet inlay without the accompanying mattress support board, an uneven sleeping surface may be created posing a potential risk of injury or death due to suffocation. As of June 17, 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to this product worldwide. Physical hazard

Consumers should not use the bassinet inlay of the Bugaboo Stardust Play Yard without the accompanying mattress support board. Consumers should contact Bugaboo to receive a free kit to eliminate the possibility of removing the bassinet mattress support board.
