As of June 10 th , 2022, the company has received 2 reports of product failure in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 26 reports of product failure, and no reports of injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled transceiver or beacon, follow the directions on the Black Diamond website to perform a device check, and contact Black Diamond Equipment for a repair or replacement if the product is malfunctioning.
