Powercom/Milcom Underwater Wireless Diver Units recalled due to Fire Hazard

The battery PCB board can short circuit and ignite when flooded, posing a fire hazard. As of June 29 th , 2022, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the Unites States, the company has received one report of incident where PCB board in the battery pack shorted and ignited. No injuries were reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Powercom/Milcom Underwater wireless diver units and contact Ocean Technology Systems (OTS) for a replacement battery.
