During verification testing, it was discovered that a subset of the beds under test were experiencing bent compression links when raising the head section and when maximum patient weight was simulated. This failure mode was due to a change that was made to how the compression links attach to the bed frame. This may cause the compression links to bend under normal use with heavy (500 lbs) patients.
