Anti-fog reactivator for swimming goggles by Nabaiji recalled due to lack of appropriate labelling

Issue
The recalled product does not meet the labelling requirements for consumer chemical products required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the chemical product and lead to serious illness or injury, including death. As of November 21, 2022, the company has received one report of injury in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the anti-fog reactivator marker f or swimming googles by Nabaiji and contact the nearest point of sale to obtain a refund. For more information, consumers can contact Decathlon Canada Inc. by telephone at 1-844-533-3322, Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm EST, by email at onlineservice@decathlon.ca or visit the company's website ( Décathlon - Product Recalls (decathlon.ca) ). Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
