BISSELL® Cordless Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuums recalled due to fire hazard

The circuit board inside the vacuum’s battery pack can overheat and smoke, posing a fire hazard. As of December 20, 2022, the company has received 6 reports of burning smell or smoke with no reports of injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 3 reports of the battery catching fire, and 1 report of injury. The company has also received 55 reports outside of Canada of burning smell or smoke.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact BISSELL to obtain a free battery pack replacement. Consumers can schedule a free in-home repair visit from an authorized BISSELL service technician to replace the existing battery pack.
