Expanded Recall: IKEA LETTAN Mirror recalled due to injury hazard

IKEA has identified that some of the plastic fittings, attaching the mirror to the wall, appear to be breaking, which could lead to the mirrors falling, posing an injury hazard. As of August 29, 2023, the company has received no incidents or reports of injury in Canada. Globally, the company has received 65 incidents of mirrors falling due to what appear to be breaking wall fittings. Minor property damage and one minor injury have been reported.

Injury hazard

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled LETTAN mirrors. IKEA urges all customers who own an affected LETTAN mirror to stop using it, and to order replacement wall fittings free of charge. Consumers may also return the mirror to IKEA for refund. A receipt is not required.
