Certain models of Cosori-branded Air Fryers recalled due to potential fire hazard

Issue
The wire connectors in the products can overheat, posing a potential burn and fire hazard. As of February 2023 the company has received 205 reports globally including 56 reports in Canada of the air fryers catching fire, burning, melting, overheating and smoking. There have been 23 reports of minor property damage globally and 10 reports of minor, superficial burn injuries, including 4 reports in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and request a free replacement unit by registering online at www.recall.cosori.com or contacting the toll-free recall hotline at 1-888-216-5974 Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM ET. No receipt is needed to receive a replacement unit. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC), PROFECO a nd Etekcity Corporation. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
