SCARPA F1 LT and F1 GT ski boots recalled due to fall hazard

Issue
Two Screws on each boot that attach the ski/walk mechanism to the cuff can loosen or fall out, causing the ski/walk mechanism to malfunction, posing a fall hazard and risk of injury to the consumer. As of February 3, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact SCARPA for instructions on replacing the screws. Consumers can either take the recalled ski boots to an authorized SCARPA dealer to have the screws replaced at no cost or request SCARPA to send the free screws for self-replacement. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission ( US CPSC) and SCARPA. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
