Health Canada warns that AIKSSOO Brand Baby Gates may pose a Choking Hazard

Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the AIKSSOO brand baby gate does not meet Canada’s Expansion Gates and Expandable Enclosures Regulations. The top end cap of the extender piece can detach, releasing a small part that may pose a choking hazard to young children.

Consumers who have this baby gate should immediately stop using it, and safely dispose of the gate in such a way that it cannot be used again. Regularly check the Healthy Canadians Recalls and Safety Alerts database for dangerous products and take action to remove items of concern. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of these products or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
