BLÅVINGAD fishing game multicolour recalled due to choking hazard

A small metal rivet within a wooden play piece may come loose and detach, posing a potential choking hazard. As of March 15, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. Globally, IKEA has received a total of four reports from consumers in the EU who experienced the rivet holding the metal pin in the wooden play piece coming loose. No injuries reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return for refund, proof of purchase is not required. For more information, consumers can contact IKEA by telephone at 1-800-661-9807, Monday-Sunday from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (EST) or visit IKEA Canada's website https://www.ikea.com/ca/en for more information. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
