Various Black Forest Resins recalled due to lack of required hazard labelling and child-resistant packaging

Issue
The recalled products do not meet the child-resistant packaging and hazard labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The lack of child-resistant packaging and required hazard labelling could result in unintentional exposure to the products, posing serious illness or injury hazards. As of March 15, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products, keep them out of reach of children, and contact Black Forest Wood Co. LTD to obtain a corrected label and replacement packaging to make the container child-resistant. For more information, consumers can contact Black Forest Wood Co. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
