Flo Battery Backup for Flo Smart Water Monitors recalled due to fire hazard

In rare cases, the product may fail by overheating, posing a fire risk. As of April 13, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the Unites States, the company has received reports of three incidents which resulted in minor property damage but no reports of injury.

Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using their recalled battery back-up, contact Moen for instructions to disable their battery back-up before disposing of the unit in accordance with applicable laws for the disposal of lithium-ion batteries, and for a refund.
